According to the worsening relationship between the US and Turkey, Turkey’s plate price kept decreasing, showed how cold the market is.
In September, Turkey imported around 603,000 tons of steel plate, dropped by 5.07% compared with the same period of last year.
Among them, the main exporters of the hot-rolled coil were from Russia, with around 80,000 tons, followed by French’s 66,000 tons, Ukraine’s 46,000 tons.
Moreover, the cold-rolled coil to Turkey in September was still mainly from Russia, with around 27,000 tons, followed by Belgium’s 8,000 tons.
For the coated plate, the main supplier was South Korea, with around 24,000 tons, followed by Belgium’s 8,000 tons.
