According to the announcement from the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) about the final results of anti-dumping investigation on the imports of carbon steel welded pipes from Pakistan, the Philippines, Vietnam and Turkey, the products involved from these 4 countries were thought to damage Turkish domestic market.
Therefore, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) finally ruled on January 16th, 2019 that the CITT will impose anti-dumping duties on carbon steel welded pipe imports from the 4 countries.
Among them, all exporters from Pakistan received a dumping margin of 66.8%. Philippine HLD Clark Steel Pipe Co. Inc. was subject to a margin of 18.1%, and all other exporters were set at 66.8%. Vietnamese exporters received a dumping margin from 3.0%-54.2%. Turkish exporters got a margin from 0.6%-45.8%.
