Taiwanese steel pipe exports increase in 2018- The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

According to Taiwan customs statistics, the export volume of welded steel pipes in December last year was around 42,500 tons, decreasing by 14% from November last year.
The main exporting country was the United States with 29,400 tons roughly, followed by Australia at around 2,800 tons. Other important countries were Vietnam, Canada, Thailand and China.
However, the export volume of steel pipes was about 466,000 tons in the entire 2018, an increase of 24% over the same period of the previous year.
Among them, Taiwanese steel pipes exported to the United States accounted for around 69% of the total exports, indicating that the United States was the main market for Taiwanese steel pipe exports.
