Turkish steel export volume increases steadily in 2018- The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

According to the statistic from the Turkish Steel Exporters'' Association (CIB) in 2018, the Turkish exported steel product reached around 21.4 million tons, increasing by 20.8% compared to the same period of last year. The Turkish mills mainly exported rebar, hot-rolled plate and welded steel pipes to the EU, Middle East and North America.
The CIB said that although the global market continued to conduct the protectionism policy, Turkish steel export volume could evaluate the indicator of steel industry success.
In addition, the Turkish steel mills expected to expend the market share to Southeast Asia, West Africa and Latin America in 2019.
