US conducts AD & CVD investigations on welded pipes from China & India- The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

The United States Department of Commerce (USDOC) announced on November 7th that China and India exported their large diameter welded pipe prices at the prices lower than the US market by 50.55-132.63%. In the meanwhile, these countries also had the subsidy rate of the above products at 198.49-541.15%.
The investigation was requested by the domestic manufacturers, involving the products of carbon and alloy welded steel pipes with diameters larger than 16 inches.
The USDOC indicated that China and India have existed the dumping action of large-diameter welded pipe. In addition, the United States has imposed the preliminary high tariff of 500% on Indian products in August.
