US’ steel pipe imports up in Sep m-o-m- The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

According to the statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US’ steel pipe imports totaled about 64,000 tons in September, up by 25.9% compared with last month and down by 15.1% compared with the same period a year ago. The import value increased by 21.5% month on month and down by 6.25% year on year.
In terms of imported sources, Thailand ranked first with around 15,000 tons, 9 times greater than that of last month and 2 times greater than that of last year; Canada ranked second with around 10,000 tons; the United Arab Emirates ranked third with around 6,200 tons; other countries were with a total around 10,300 tons.
