Dragon Steel, the subsidiary company of Taiwanese China Steel Corp. and Tong Ho announced to hold their H section steel prices flat for May.
The current scrap prices remained stable and the demand was not strong. Therefore, both companies decided to unchange the prices for May in order to stabilize the price in the market.
It was understood that the import offer was about NT$700/ton. Due to the weak demand, the buyers still purchased from local mills now.
