Russian TMK¡¯s steel pipe shipments increase by 10.6% in 2017- The 19th China (Guangzhou ) Int¡¯l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

According to a recent marketing report released by TMK, the world''s leading steel pipe manufacturer, TMK¡¯s steel pipe shipments totaled 3.8 million tons in 2017, up by 10.6% year on year. The shipments were around 984,000 tons in the fourth quarter, down by 2.8% quarter on quarter. This drop might caused by the seasonal weakness in the welding industry.
The shipments of seamless steel pipes in 2017 were around 2.7 million tons, up by 11.6% from the same period of the previous year. The shipments in the fourth quarter were 670,000 tons, up by 4.5% from a quarter earlier. The shipments of welded steel pipe were around 1.1 million tons, increasing by 8.4% from the same period a year ago.
