In the first half of this year, Chinese steel market continued to fluctuate and fell further. However, Chinese seamless steel pipe prices remained strong, the prices have rebounded since April of this year, hit a record high in the past five years.
Due to the limits of production capacity of China’s environment policy in June, while some of pipe manufacturers began the maintenance schedule to affect the production output.
Consequently, manufacturers to keep the inventory of raw materials in low. Considering about the peak season demand coming, the market resource is still in tense situation, the prices are expected to surge in near future.
