Cemas Doküm Sanayi A.S. one of Turkey-based lsiklar Holding''s group companies operating in Kirsehir, has announced that ithas increased its annual metal casting capacity by 100 percent to 50,000 mt with its investments in new melting furnaces, moldinglines, miling machines, powder paint and cataphoresis coaing faclities. in addition, the company will meet 60 percent of itselectricity needs from renewable sources with its 13 yW solar power plant investment which is planned to be completed within a
short time.
Together with the power plant investment. two 14 MW hydroelectric power plants, scrap recycling and in-plant waste recyclincfacilities, the company is heading towards the goal of zeroing its carbon footprint.
Commenting on the investments, Riza Kutlu lsik, chairman of the board of directors of lsiklar Holding said. "Cemas is growing withinvestments. These investments wil further accelerate our export acivities, especially in the European and American markets."
