According to an official document, Mexico decided to maintain the countervailing duties (CVD) on imports of seamless steel pipes originating in Japan, regardless of the country of origin.
The validity of this CVD order was extended for another five years, beginning from November 11, 2020.
The review of this CVD measure was launched on November 5, 2020. The period of examination was from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020, and the analysis period was set from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2020.
This CVD duty rate will continue at 99.9%, the same as the rate originally imposed in November 2000. Tubos de Acero de M¨¦xico, SA (TAMSA) was the applicant of this case.
