It was reported that the Canadian government recently approved to exempt the latest tariff and quota measures on imports of certain steel products, and the tariff exemption has applied for the imported steel orders which have been in transit before October 25th.
The applicant was some Canadian manufacturers who relied on the United States steel products.
The Canadian government explained that the decision would lessen the pressure on some Canadian automakers, which purchased the US steel products and distributed the imported steels to Canadian suppliers based on the contract.
