Steel consumption in Asean to increase significantly for 2016-The 18th China(Guangzhou ) Int¡¯l Casting product Exhibition

The Secretary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations recently pointed out that the East China countries '' demand for steel remained growth trend, that for Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam will maintain 5-6% growth this year. In 2016, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) indicated that steel consumption grew by 12% compared with the same period of last year.
Among them, Vietnam''s steel consumption growth was strongest, increased by 2.4% compared with the same period of last year; followed by Thailand grew by 15.1% compared with the same period of last year; the Philippines grew by 15% compared with the same period of last year; Indonesia also grew by 10% compared with the same period of last year; while Singapore has the worst performance and steel consumption fell by 29.5% compared with the same period of last year.
