Press Trust of India reported that prices of copper and zinc traded higher by INR 2 per kg at the non-ferrous metals market today due to pick up in demand from consuming industries amid a firming global trend. Traders said increased demand from consuming industries at domestic spot market and a firming trend overseas mainly kept copper and zinc prices higher. In the national capital, copper mixed scrap and zinc ingot advanced by INR 2 each to INR 362 and INR 100-106 per kg, respectively.
