Kalamazoo Industries offers the KM14HS, a 14-in., high-speed saw that can miter nonferrous materials such as aluminum, brass, and plastic 45 degrees left or right. The saw, now part of the company’s standard equipment line, originally was built to a customer’s special request.

The machine features cast-iron construction mounted on a steel base, 4,400-RPM spindle speed, sealed ball bearings, dual V-belt drive, and dual cam vises that open to 6 in. Capacities are 2 by 6 in. at 90 degrees and 4 by 3.5 in. at 45 degrees.

The saw is available with a 5-HP motor in 220-V one-phase or 220-/440-/575-V three-phase.
