Russia''s copper exports totaled 149,000 tons during January to August, up by 3% compared to the same time last year.
Copper exports were all shipped to outside of Commonwealth of Independent States countries.
Total export value generated by copper reached US$1.01 billion in the first eight months, dropping by 6.1% from the same period of last year.
During the given period, Russia exported 154,000 tons of nickel with total amount of US$2.54 billion. The country''s aluminum exports totaled 1.2 million tons with amount value of US$3.624 billion.
