Global Banking and Finance reported that Mitsui Mining & Smelting Co Ltd announced that it is establishing a marketing base for copper foil business in China. MicroThin, ultra-thin electrodeposited copper foil with carrier, is a product of Mitsui Kinzoku adopted in semiconductor package substrates for smartphones and HDI substrates for high-end smartphones. It is expected that this business will continue to expand as the fine line of the circuit width and further high-speed communication will proceed.
Under the rapidly growing China market, to develop new customer and earn customer needs early, Mitsui Kinzoku decided to establish the copper foil marketing department in Mitsui Kinzoku Trading (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
