According to the Mexican Minister of Economy, Ildefonso Guajardo, the country wants to end the tariff dispute over steel and aluminum with the US before signing the new North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
The idea is to reach an agreement to solve clearly all these tariff aggressions before signing NAFTA, said Guajardo.
Mexico estimates that it will sign the new NAFTA agreement with the United States at the end of November and is pushing for Canada to become a part of it.
