EE herald reported that the copper-metal cost is rising in the year 2016. In the Oct to Nov period a 20% rise per month was reported. The copper is so essential in electronics manufacturing, its rise in cost, will also makes electronics expensive.
Due to increase in the cost of copper metal, Panasonic has revised the prices of its copper clad laminates and mass laminations, with inner layer circuits (Panasonic product name: PreMulti) available as printed circuit board materials.
