It is reported that Anglo American says, it will stop Los Bronces copper mine operation till the company can be guaranteed all operation under safety mode, and all the staff will be all right.
The mine is one of the largest operating units of copper, the copper concentrate and cathode copper production reached 401,700 tons in last year. British American Group own 50.1% of the mine ownership.
