South Korea's export of special alloy bar to Taiwan jump-The 20th China(Guangzhou) Die-casting, Foundry & Industry Furnace Exhibition

Based on statistics, from January to November this year, Taiwan was the largest export destination of Korean special alloy bars, followed by Thailand.
Export volume was occupied 39% of total capacity of special alloy bars, and Korea exported 93,000 tons to Taiwan, an increase of 111.5% y-on-y, accounting for 15.2% of total exports.
The export to Thailand was 78,000 tons, increased by 30.4% y-on-y. Belgium was the third destination with 69,000 tons, accounting for 11.3%, then the export to Indonesia was 57,000 tons, increased by 18.5%, and the export to Japan was 44,000 tons, decreased by 3.9% y-on-y. U.S market was affected by import quotas, with export volume of only 31,000 tons, a decrease of 40.5% y-on-y.
Korean suppliers mentioned that production capacity has increased, but domestic demand was sluggish, steel mills have turned to actively expand export market to fill up capacity vacancies.
