Taiwanese stainless wire rod mills keeps wire rod prices unchanged for Jan-The 20th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Spring Industry Exhibition

As upstream mills dropped prices for hot/cold rolled coil price for January, the stainless steel product prices already came to the lowest price level. Affected by this, Taiwanese wire rod manufacturers announced to keep their prices of stainless steel wire rod unchanged for January.
The international nickel price didn''t have big change recently, and Chinese stainless steel wire rod prices also remained stable. In considering of the current market and Chinese price, Taiwanese stainless steel wire rod mills decided to keep their prices for stainless steel wire rod this month.
In addition, other carbon steel wire rod mills also announced to remain carbon steel wire rod prices for January. The new prices were the same as market participants’ expectations.
