Australia''s largest commercial heat treater (and quite possibly the largest heat treater in the country period) has embarked on a major expansion. HTA is in the process of building a new facility in Brisbane, Australia (home office for the company) as well as setting up a brand new plant in the LA, California area dedicated to the aerospace and medical industries. As well the company has committed to two vacuum aluminum brazing furnaces, a 25 bar quenching vacuum carburizing furnace, temper furnaces as well as a new metallurgical lab with a new automated micro tester and a clean room. The supplier of the furnaces is SECO/WARWICK and we understand that the total order was valued at somewhere over $2 million USD.
