In October this year, Germany''s crude steel output increased by one percent month on month to 3.54 million metric tons, but decreased by 5.9 percent compared to October 2013, according to the information provided by the German steel federation Wirtschaftsvereinigung Stahl (WV Stahl). Meanwhile, in the first ten months of the current year, the country''s crude steel output increased by 1.6 percent year on year to 36.1 million metric tons.
