The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has announced the preliminary results of its antidumping duty investigation onstructural steel products including U, l, H beams and other angles) from China and Thailand.The investigation was launched on September 20. During the review period from April 1, 2023, to March 31, 2024, producers fromthe given countries were found to have made sales of the subject products at less than normal value, causing material injury to theSouth African domestic industry. SARS determined dumping margins of 52.81 percent for China and 9.12 percent for Thalland.
The products fall under the HS codes 7216 31, 7216 32,7216 33, and 7216.50
