According to statistics from the US Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 18,000 tons of rebar in October 2021, rising by 27.4% compared to the previous month while sliding by 17.7% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to Canada accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 14,600 tons, a month-on-month increase of 14.15% and a year-on-year drop of 18.4%. The Dominican Republic ranked second with roughly 1,700 tons, and the exports to other destinations were less than 1,000 tons.
During the reporting period, the export value totaled around US$18 million, up by 21.2% month on month and by 33.6% year on year.
