The Tajik Aluminium Company (TALCO), the largest aluminium manufacturing plant in Central Asia, decided to drop its goal of aluminum annual capacity’s growth from 20% to 5%.
The huge decline on the expectation was mainly because of the weak demand and unstable supply, including coking coal and alumina.
TALCO had produced around 96,000 tons of aluminum in last year.
