US' AZZ Inc announces to acquire Preferred Industries—The 21st China(Guangzhou)Int’l Heat Treatment, Industrial Furnace Exhibition

On Monday, American AZZ Inc. announced it had acquired Preferred Industries, a private powder coatings company based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, which provided powder and electronic coating services to the automotive, HVAC (heating ventilation air conditioning) system, marine, transportation, medical, industrial and plastic industries.
According to the expectation from AZZ Inc, the business benefits would hope to increase within one year of the operation via the acquisition.
AZZ Inc was a global provider of metal coating solutions, welding solutions, specialty electrical equipment, and highly engineered services. Through the acquisition, it’s facilitated its business expanding in powder and electronic coating areas.
Preferred owns 155,000 and 89,600 square foot factories in Terrell and Rowlett respectively. In the future, AZZ intended to integrate those plants as well as the other six existing powder coating and plating operations in the area to provide customers broader services.
