A Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd release said that "The blast furnace of 3800 cum volume produced 7,155 tonnes of hot metal against the rated capacity of 7,150 tonnes /day with a blastfurnace productivity of 2.2 tonnes/per/cum/ day.”
The Chairman and Managing Director of the plant Mr AP Choudhary said that "The skilled workforce with their meticulous planning helped RINL to achieve this milestone with regard to Blast Furnace-3.”
