Brazil & China conduct bilateral trade negotiations—The 20th China(Guangzhou)Int’l Heat Treatment, Industrial Furnace Exhibition

China delegation recently discussed with Brazil Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC) on bilateral trade in 2018-2019. According to MDIC, the meeting topics included Brazilian domestic industrial investment projects, bilateral investment plans, and related matters of Brazilian takeover of the BRIC countries (including Brazil, Russia, India and China) in 2019.
It was understood that China was an important trading partner of Brazil. Brazil yearly exported US$47 billion of products to China, and imported US$27 billion of products from the country. From January to July this year, Brazilian exports to China totaled US$36 billion.
On the other hand, Vale S.A. was a main exporter of iron ore for China. From January to July this year, Brazil exported iron ore and iron ore pellet to China with a total export value of US$8 billion rouhgly.
