It was reported that Indian steel industry grew fast with inadequate rail and road infrastructure.
The India steel capacity will increase 300 million tons from the current 130 million tons. However, the steel industry is wondering whether there are strong infrastructure and logistics to support the new steel production capacity efficiently.
The abundant availability of iron ore and non-coking coal need to be required to support new big steel production. However, mining industry is wondering whether they can meet policy environmental standard.
In addition, they also wonder whether they have strong infrastructure to supply steel industry raw material in order to produce out 300 million tons of steel.
In 2017 the steel industry was suffering from inefficient of rail and road infrastructure for raw material delivery.
