United Performance Metals, a distributor of stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, nickel alloys, and cobalt alloys in Hamilton, Ohio, has hired Ben Stansel as business analyst. His primarily responsibilities are pricing and contract management for the specialty metals service center.

After graduating with honors from Miami University’s Farmer School of Business, Stansel spent six years as an analyst with Huron Consulting Group. Most recently he served as director of business systems for an Illinois manufacturer of hydraulic machinery.
