According to statistics, Brazil’s coke imports totaled 41,979 tons in September, slumping by 80.2% year on year.
In September, the country’s import revenues generated by cokes totaled US$7.83 million, falling by 84.5% year on year.
The coke import prices averaged at US$186.73/ton CIF, decreasing by 21.6% from a year ago.
Among them, around 40,000 tons were from Chile; the import prices averaged at US$177.97/ton CIF.
