According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the country’s import values generated by iron and steel totaled US$10.3 billion in January-July period, falling by 4.3% year on year.
In the given period of time, the country’s import values of articles of iron and steel totaled US$1.5 billion, dropping by 5.6% year on year.
In July alone, Turkey’s import values of iron and steel totaled US$1.4 billion, down by 10.6% year on year and down by 5.2% from the previous month.
