According to data released by the Japan Iron & Steel Federation (JISF), the country’s crude steel production totaled 9.26 million tons in November, down by 2.8% from a month ago while soaring by 8.9% year on year.
It’s analyzed that the country’s increased crude steel output was boosted by higher domestic steel demand.
