According to data released by the Chilean construction chamber (CChC), the country’s domestic rebar shipments totaled 53,269 tons in October, jumping by 30.5% from a month ago but slumping by 17.3% year on year.
In the January-October period, the shipments amounted to 510,748 tons, decreasing by 4.2% year on year.
Meanwhile, the two major suppliers are CAP Acero and Gerdau.
