Russia’s crude steel output drops in H1-The 18th China(Guangzhou)Int’l Metal &MetallurgyExhibition

According to data released by Russtat, Russia’s crude steel production totaled 34.9 million tons in January-June period, decreasing by 0.2% year on year.
In the given period of time, the country’s steel product output totaled 30 million tons, down by 0.6% year on year.
Meanwhile, the output of steel pipe increased by 9.8% to 5.6 million tons and that of pig iron reached 26 million tons, up by 3.7%; both compared to figures in the same period of 2014.
