Turkey’s steel imports up in June-The 18th China(Guangzhou)Int’l Metal &Metallurgy Exhibition

According to the Turkey statistics (TUIK) and Turkey Customs Secretariat in June this year, Turkey’s steel imports amounted to US$14 billion, an increase of 6.7% year on year. The steel imports accounted for the fifth of total imports. During the first six months this year, Turkey’s steel imports was US$64.8 billion, down 18% year on year.
In June this year, Turkey’s steel products import ranked 13th, total amount of US$2.8055 billion, an increase of 12.1% year on year. In January-June this year, Turkey’s imports of iron or steel products amounted to US$16.1 billion, an increase of 23.3% year on year.
