US’ steelmakers may increase HRC price to end decline trend-- The 21st China (Guangzhou) Int’l Plate metal, Bar, wire, Metal Processing &Setting Equipment Exhibition

In the past week, the domestic price for hot-rolled coil in the US had been decreased by US$22/ton.
However, although the market price didn’t see very well, those US steelmakers such as ArcelorMittal USA, LNMK, and American Steel all announced to increase at least US$44/ton on all of the orders included hot-rolled coil, cold-rolled coil, and hot-dipped galvanized coil.
As the market demand was not strong enough, most of the market participants were still observing.
According to one of the market participants said, if the scrap didn’t increase next month, the price would read to be far away from the market.
