USITC confirms damage for structure steel imported from Canada, China & Mexico-- The 20th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Plate metal, Bar, wire, Metal Processing &Setting Equipment Exhibition

It was reported that the US International Trade Commission (USITC) confirmed the structure steel imports from Canada, China and Mexico has jeopardized US industry. The subsequent investigation will be focused on how much tariff will be levied on these products. The formal report will be announced on April 18th.
The US Department of Commerce (USDOC) has probed the anti-dumping and countervailing duties on the structure steel imported from above three countries. A preliminary countervailing report will be announced on May 1st, while anti-dumping report will not be announced until July 15th.
