E-Sheng Steel Co., one of the section steel manufacturers in Taiwan, kept its section steel price unchanged this week.
E-Sheng has remained its section steel price flat after Chinese New Year holidays (February) due to the weak demand from downstream buyers. The new price was the same as expectation in the market.
According to the price announcement, the price for small-sized angle bar was NT$19,800~20,800/ton; that for channel bar was NT$20,000/ton; that for flat bar at 38*4.5mm was NT$20,200~21,700/ton; that for certain sizes of flat bar was NT$19,700/ton; that for round iron was NT$21,700/ton.
The deal price also remained stable in the market. There were many national holidays during April but the working days were stable during May. It was expected that the sales performance will be better in May.
