Brazilian steel plate imports rise in Mar-The 19th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Plate metal, Bar, wire, Metal Processing &Setting Equipment Exhibition

According to the data from Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade (MDIC), Brazil imported around 89,000 tons of carbon steel plates this March, up by 35.6% from last March’s 65,000 tons.
Among them, the imports of hot-rolled coil were around 29,000 tons, up by 6% year on year; those of cold-rolled plate were around 26,000 tons, sharply up by 306.9% year on year; those of hot-dip galvanized plate were around 33,000 tons, up by 5.3% year on year.
Among these imports, the imports of hot-rolled coil from South Korea were around 11,000 tons; those from Taiwan were around 9,800 tons; those from Ukraine were around 5,000 tons. The imports of cold-rolled plate from China were around 26,000 tons, and those of hot-dip galvanized plate from China were around 31,000 tons.
