According to the statistics, Japan exported around 47,000 tons of wire rod in February, up by 0.22% compared to last month but down by 13.1% compared to the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to China were around 5,300 tons, a month-on-month drop of 3.9% and a year-on-year drop of 68.4%; those to the United States were around 5,400 tons, a month-on-month decrease of 37.9% and a year-on-year decrease of 45.1%; those to Taiwan were around 900 tons, a year-on-year reduction of 52.3%; those to South Korea were around 11,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 50.9% and a year-on-year increase of 88.2%.
