Germany long product producers Saarstahl said that the demand for steel bar and wire rod would increase in 2018 because the consumption of end user rose. The customer amount from automobile and machinery industries had significant growth in 2018.
The mechanical engineering industry estimated the orders for domestic and export would increase and automobile industry estimated the capacity for general and heavy vehicle would go forwards.
In February 2018, the sales volume of new vehicles in Germany were around 260,000 vehicles, an increase of 7.45% year on year.
