According to the statement from the Turkish Steel Exporters'' Association (CIB), the United States large-diameter line pipe producers were asking an anti-dumping investigation on large-diameter line pipe imports.
The customs tariffs of the products involved in the investigation were 7304.19.90.00, 7305.11.00.00, 7305.12.00.00 and 7305.19.00.00.
The CIB also said that the American Line Pipe Producers Association (ALPPA) represented Stupp Corporation, American Steel Pipe, Berg Steel Pipe and Dura-Bond Industries to state they needed a better trade protection for the domestic products.
