In the past one month, the north European domestic steel plate demand has been rebounded, while southern Europe remained weak. At the same time, the European steel plate prices continued downward trend, because the import plate price and global plate prices were soft.
European plate demand would slow for the upcoming Christmas season, and prices were expected to fluctuate as global markets remained uncertainty.
In the European market last month, the price of hot rolled and cold-rolled rolls fell by €10/ton.
