It is reported that it was entered the traditional peak season demand in September, China''s domestic steel market demand is expected to improve further, while steel prices are expected upward trend, which sustained the price of scrap in September.
From the point of view of finished materials, although August was still in the off-season, but the demand of steel industry remained a great performing. China’s steel industry PMI index was 57.2% in August of this year, up by 2.3% compared with previous month.
As the steel demand being the strong support of scrap price, the only element to weaken the demand comes from limited capacity caused by China’s government environment policy. The cease of the production line reduced its procurement more or less. It could be supported scrap market demand in coming month.
