US hot rolled steel bar imports fall for Jul- The 19th China (Guangzhou) Int’l Plate metal, Bar, Wire, Metal Processing &Setting Equipment Exhibition

According to the statistics released by U.S. Department of Commerce in this July, the hot rolled steel bar imports of this country were 116,135 tons, down by 18.8% compared with last month; however, up by 40.8% compared with last year.
Among them, the main hot rolled steel bars imports were from Canada which were 31,478 tons, down by 12,380 tons compared with last month and down by 220 tons compared with last year. Other major sources of hot rolled steel bar imports were from Turkey was 31,425 tons; Japan was 16,595 tons; France was 14,076 tons, Germany was 6,236 tons and UK was 3,246 tons, respectively.
