It is understood that South Korea''s heavy plate producers have faced the sluggish market from imports, thus Posco planned to sale GS steel in order improve sale performance.
In July of this year, Posco Daewoo and other service center began selling GS steel to importers, and it is estimated to be more than 30,000 tons, and is expected to officially enter the market from August of this year.
In addition, some heavy plate importers will try to sell GS Steel instead of Chinese products, in order to compensate sales and profits.
