It is reported that Nucor announced to increase its carbon heavy plate prices, up to US$30/ short ton, including carbon, alloy and heat plate.
Since May this year, the first United States steel mill announced to raise prices of heavy plate after market participants estimated the possibilities of price increases in the near future.
In May, Nucor, ArcelorMittal United States company and SSAB United States companies had announced prices increased of US$40/short ton.
